Business Policy

Scheduling our services:  We recommend that you schedule your session(s) 24 hours in advance, though walk-ins are sometimes available, including schedule all ayurvedic, body and massage treatments. 

Late arrivals: Out of consideration to other clients, if you are late for an appointment you may not receive full treatment. After 30 minutes it will be considered a no show and the appointment will be cancelled.

Cancellations for appointments not received within 24-hours prior to the scheduled appointments: Cancellations are subject to a fee of 75% of the services. Simply put, you schedule an appointment with a professional therapeutic massage and bodywork therapist, that time is booked specifically for YOU.  Notice of cancellation allows for effectively allocating resources to better serve our valued clients.

Right to Refuse Services: Our Professional Massage and Bodywork Therapists reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances by clients for professional massage therapy services will result in the IMMEDIATE termination of the massage. The cost of the scheduled appointment will still be due in full. And such illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances may be reported to the appropriate local law enforcement authorities.

Gift Certificates and Group Rates: Ask for additional details or further information if you have any questions.

Gratuities: Gratuities are not included in the price and are always appreciated. And your personal recommendation to your friends and relatives is always a valued reward in and of itself!

Payment: Full payment is expected at time of service.

Acceptable forms of payment:  We accept cash, local checks (with your Driver's License Number and phone number, written on the check – (Returned checks are subject to a $40.00 charge) money orders, Traveler's checks, and the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Discounts and Coupons: Only one offer valid per person, per visit. Excludes Loyalty and Referral programs.

Currently no insurance is accepted as a means of payment.  However, Lotus of the Lake would be happy to assist you in providing the documentation needed for your submission of reimbursement to your insurance provider. The ability to bill insurance an insurance carrier is under review.
